Ismary Vento is an MPH candidate at Rutgers University School of Public Health, concentrating in Health Systems & Policy. She received her BS in Public Health with a concentration in Wellness and a minor in sociology from the University of Tampa. Her research focuses on understanding and developing effective digital education cancer health programming in diverse populations. Ismary’s research interests include health disparities among different racial and ethnic groups, particularly how racial stigmas contribute to health outcomes. Through her work with cancer health disparities, Ismary hopes to serve as an advocate for minority health.
