Kimberly Pierre is an MPH candidate at Rutgers School of Public Health with a concentration in Urban Public Health. Her areas of research interest include: minority health disparities, urban health, health education, sexual and reproductive health, women’s health, and maternal and child health. She is a passionate public health professional with great leadership skills and outstanding problem-solving skills. Ms. Pierre has worked in communities, schools, and hospitals providing workshops on promoting healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices. She is motivated and determined to improve the prevention of health disparities and address the needs of urban communities by implementing programs that can provide quality access to healthcare services and bringing awareness of epidemics that affect urban communities.
